Spanish III (Español III)
Spanish III continues with the gains made in Spanish II by challenging the student to tie grammar and vocabulary elements together and communicate effectively in the target language. Students at this level should be able to initiate and sustain conversation by making statements, asking questions, and giving appropriate responses. Students are also expected to be able to communicate using appropriate time frames on everyday topics.
We will continue to expand our knowledge of the Spanish language and culture through use of the textbook, other literature, music, discussions, and film studies.
To be considered for further advancement in Spanish students must continue to demonstrate proficiency in the four major skill areas of reading, writing, speaking, and listening for comprehension.
